Every year, it seems all of the stores begin to sell cinnamon brooms during the fall. I get it. Cinnamon is a very popular scent (I personally like it more than pumpkin, but I digress) and it reminds everyone of that cozy feeling. And plus, who doesn’t like the smell of cinnamon all of the time?

When I smell cinnamon, I think of warm nights, snuggling underneath a blanket, drinking a cup of hot cocoa or tea, and watching a movie or reading my favorite book. Not to mention I use cinnamon in just about every baking recipe I can get! LOL. (I really love cinnamon, y’all.)

So, I’ve seen cinnamon brooms pretty sold pretty much everywhere – Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Trader Joe’s, and even the local Ralph’s. And almost every time, they’re just about sold out!

What? Why in the heck would anyone want a cinnamon broom? You obviously can’t sweep with it and I’m not sure if I just want a broom for the decor/aesthetic of it all….

Okay, what’s the big deal about these?

For starters, they’re relatively cheap. I got mine for $5.99 but I’ve seen them go up to $10.99. Still not a bad deal. They immediately fragrance whatever room you put them in and if you choose to use them to sweep, the smell does spread pretty quickly! Score!

2023 Update: I’ve seen the cinnamon brooms average around $7.99. So, it’s been hit by the inflation bug, but it’s still not a bad deal!

These things smell amazing!!! And they fragrance the entire room and depending on how small your place is, the entire home! And it’s not overpowering. It’s actually easy on your nose and who doesn’t like the smell of cinnamon? It’s so warm and cozy during the fall and winter? Perfect sweater weather scent!

Another added benefit is it supposedly brings good luck and protection to your home. Now, I don’t know for certain if this point is true, but I haven’t had any bullshit come around to my home so I’m going to say yes.

Honestly, if you’re not super into fall decor, but you want just a little something, I don’t see why not? It’s a cute purchase and it’ll make your home smell so good! Plus, once the scent runs out, you can always sprinkle a little cinnamon oil on it to refresh!

Do you have a cinnamon broom in your home?
